The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) conducted a comprehensive awareness-raising and empowerment workshop for girls within the scope of the Prevention of Child, Early and Forced Marriage (CEFM) Project. The activity was implemented through interactive methods aimed at increasing participants’ knowledge and strengthening their life skills.

A total of 12 girls aged 12–18 participated in the workshop. The sessions covered key topics including self-awareness, identification of supportive and risky environments, communication skills, children’s rights, access to referral mechanisms, adolescence, healthy development, future planning, and decision-making. Participants actively engaged in the activities, gaining practical awareness and skills relevant to their daily lives.

The primary objective of the program was to support girls in recognizing their strengths, improving their communication skills, increasing their awareness of their rights, and enabling them to identify risks at an early stage. The workshop also aimed to raise awareness about the risks and consequences of child, early and forced marriage.

Through its CEFM activities, ARSA aims to reach more children, enhance awareness levels, and contribute to creating safer environments where children can grow and develop in an empowered way.
