Turkey has become a host country for millions of Asylum Seekers / Refugees and migrants from different countries in recent years. This situation has made the protection and support of migrants’ rights increasingly important.

Refugees / asylum seekers have fundamental human rights under international law. Access to education, healthcare, housing, and security is essential for them to live with dignity. However, in practice, many refugees and migrants face difficulties in accessing these services.

Civil society organizations play a critical role in advocating for Refugees / asylum seekers’ rights and improving their living conditions. These organizations provide legal assistance, social support, education, and integration programs that help refugees adapt to society.

The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) is an important civil society organization in Turkey that supports the rights of refugees / asylum seekers and migrants. ARSA particularly focuses on protection and support activities for women, children, and vulnerable groups.

The protection of refugees’ rights is highly important for both humanitarian reasons and social cohesion. The work of civil society organizations in this field should be strengthened.
