The 4th Children's Painting Festival, organized as part of April 23, will be held with the cooperation of Afghan Refugee Solidarity and Assistance Association (ARSA), Kayseri Provincial Migration Administration, Red Crescent Community Center and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

 

Conditions:

  1. The Contest is open to participation of primary and secondary school children aged 7-11 and children aged 12-14.
  2. Works that have received awards before cannot participate in the competition.
  3. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
  4. Each competitor can participate in the competition with a maximum of one work.
  5. Pictures submitted will be in A4 (29.7 x 21cm) size. There is no limitation on paint, the technique is free.
  6. Name, Surname and signature should not be on the work,
  7. After the drawings are completed, they should be scanned and sent to the e-mail below.
  8. In the e-mail, together with the picture attachment, the child's name, surname, child's date of birth, child's class, contact number and city name should be written and sent.
  9. Works that do not meet these conditions will not be evaluated.
  10. If necessary, the selected works will be exhibited in appropriate places with the permission of the owner of the work.
  11. 5 winners from primary school and 5 winners from secondary school will be awarded.
  12. The originals of the winning works will be requested to the Headquarters of the Association. Awarded works will not be returned.

Awards

In the Painting Contest held within the scope of 23 April, the awards of the winners will be announced by the Selection Committee as a result of the evaluation of the participating works. The awards to be given to the winning works are as follows:

7-11 Age Group

  • 1st Prize: Tablet, Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 2nd Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 3rd Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 4th Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 5th Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation

12-14 Age Group

  • 1st Prize: Tablet, Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 2nd Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 3rd Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation
  • 4th Prize: Picture Set and Certificate of Participation

Delivery of Awards

The awards will be delivered to the owners of the awarded works via cargo.

 

With the cooperation of Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Assistance Association (ARSA) and Connection Hub non-governmental organization operating in England, we are starting to offer free certified courses for refugee and asylum seeker youth.

 

We help refugees with limited or no access to learning opportunities develop the skills and confidence they need to create a future of decent work and living.

 

 

There will be opportunities to participate in the online trainings prepared by 13 international universities, including America, Europe and Turkey, for 6 months. In addition to high school courses, they will benefit from university preparation courses and career selection courses free of charge.
