The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) organized a special event centered on cultural and artistic exchange at Mehmet İlgü Primary School in observance of 18 December, International Migrants Day. Within the scope of the event, a stand set up by ARSA brought together visitors with artworks created through the efforts of volunteers from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Paintings, handwoven carpets, and various artistic works produced by ARSA’s talented volunteers were displayed at the stand. In addition, a volunteer engaged in calligraphy offered a meaningful cultural interaction by writing visitors’ names in calligraphic script, further strengthening cultural exchange. Throughout the event, art emerged as a powerful tool for building a shared language across differences and fostering mutual understanding.

This culture and art gathering, in which ARSA took part, created an inclusive environment aligned with the spirit of International Migrants Day by emphasizing solidarity, collective creativity, and the richness of cultural diversity. The event attracted significant interest from participants and contributed to strengthening a culture of coexistence and mutual respect within the community.
