As the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA), we continue our institutional visits as part of the “ACAR Project: Invisible Barriers – Access to Rights for Children with Disabilities in the Context of Displacement in Türkiye.”

In line with the objectives of the project, an institutional visit was conducted with the representatives of Mutlu Yüzler Special Education and Rehabilitation Center in Kayseri, followed by a productive assessment meeting.

During the meeting, information and experiences were exchanged regarding displaced children with disabilities’ access to special education and rehabilitation services, the challenges they face, and existing practices. Discussions also focused on the needs of children throughout their education and rehabilitation processes and ways to strengthen their access to relevant services.
