Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) and Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) based in Canada have come together to undertake a valuable collaborative project. This project aims to bring media and civil society together to increase awareness about the rights and lives of Afghan refugees.

Within the framework of the ARSA and JHR collaboration, informative training sessions were organized. These training sessions, conducted by experts in journalism and media, aimed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and skills related to the challenges faced by refugees, human rights violations, and social justice issues. Additionally, practical guidance was offered to participants on effective news writing, accurate information presentation, and adherence to ethical standards in the news reporting process.

The educational training sessions conducted as part of the project not only empowered participants to write more impactful and inclusive news stories but also strengthened their ability to sensitively narrate the stories of Afghan refugees and raise awareness within the community.

This meaningful collaborative project seeks to contribute to positive societal changes by harnessing the power of the media and drawing attention to the refugee issue, emphasizing the importance of human rights and social justice.
