ARSA Association celebrated the May 17 International Recycling Day and Green Week 2025 with a meaningful and creative event. The workshop, titled “3R Upcycling Workshop for Kids: Reuse, Repair, Recycle”, offered children and their families a fun and educational experience.

Not only children but also their mothers and siblings participated in the event. Guided by trainer Çelebi KALKAN, participants brought their old t-shirts and turned them into stylish hand-made bags by cutting and knotting them.

Through this hands-on workshop, both children and family members learned the importance of recycling and the circular economy through practical experience.

With this event, ARSA aimed to teach children and families ways to protect the environment while also experiencing the joy of creating and producing together.

With the slogan “Bring your old t-shirt, design your new bag!”, the workshop became a colorful and memorable day that strengthened recycling awareness in a family-friendly environment.
