Turkey Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan (3RP) coordination team participated in the event 'From the Global to the National: Progress of Localization in Turkey with the Launch of the National Reference Group', which was held in Ankara on January 25, 2023 by the Localization Advocacy Group (YSG) and the Turkish Refugee Council (TMK). Representing the Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association, Founder and President, Dr. Zakira Hekmat joined to this event as speaker.

The meeting started with the panel after the opening speeches. In this session, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representative Monika Ferrari, German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) Turkey representative Wolfgang Jassen, Blue pencil Association representative Arzu Karacan and ARSA representative Dr. Zakira Hekmat attended as a speaker. Hekmat talked about ARSA's local services and advocacy activities at the international and national level.

Representatives of non-governmental organizations from different provinces of Turkey, representatives of international institutions, Embassies and international funding institutions attended the meeting.

The Status of Decentralization in Turkey Panel was held, group studies were held to introduce the National Reference Group and to shape the actions to be taken in the determined areas (financing, partnerships, coordination, capacity) in the event.
