The Afghan Refugee Solidarity Association's Turkish Speaking Club, which is conducted in collaboration with the Provincial National Education Directorate, held a meeting at Refika Küçükçalık Secondary School to introduce the project and meet with members. The meeting was attended by the representative of the Provincial National Education Directorate, Ibrahim Bayram, the School Principal Samet Nurettin Özdemir, the Founder and President of the ARSA Association, MD. Zakira Hekmat, ARSA staff and beneficiaries, parents, and students. In the first part of the meeting, MD. Zakira Hekmat provided information about the association and its activities. Then, the Provincial National Education Directorate Representative, Ibrahim Bayram, spoke about the collaboration with ARSA and the benefits that the speaking club would provide to parents and students, and wished everyone a happy eid. In the second part, the Project Assistant made an informative presentation about the association's establishment, beneficiaries, activities, and the Turkish Speaking Club, including its content, implementation, and benefits for social integration. At the end of the meeting, questions from the participants were answered, and those who wanted to join the speaking club were registered.
This event was held within the scope of profect called "Improving Community-based Social Services for Refugees and Vulnerable Residents of Host Communities in Türkiye (CLIP 2)” which is co-funded by the European Union through its Humanitarian Aid Operations department (ECHO) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)
