We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives in the earthquake that took place in the southeast region of Turkey last night and also affected the surrounding provinces and neighbouring countries, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
As the Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Assistance Association, we provide cooperation and coordination to the necessary units together with our volunteers. As of this morning, our Board Member of the Association went to Kahramanmaraş with the AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) Team. We are sending Volunteer Persian Translator Support Personnel and Volunteer Search and Rescue Support Personnel from 62 provinces of Turkey to the earthquake zone.
So far, 375 people across Turkey have applied to this campaign and they stated that they will support activities in Turkish, Persian, Azerbaijani, Urdu, Arabic, English and Uzbek languages.
