As the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA), we participated as a stakeholder in the 3RP – Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan 2026 Networking and Partnership Fair, organized under the framework of UNHCR and UNDP. The 3RP provides a unified regional structure linking national refugee response plans in Türkiye, Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt, and serves as an important mechanism supporting protection, humanitarian assistance, and resilience programming. The event featured opening remarks by UNHCR Türkiye Representative Angela Li Rosi, UNDP Türkiye Deputy Resident Representative Miodrag Dragisic, and Head of the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Türkiye, Tom Delrue.
Speakers emphasized that the key priorities of the new period for both the United Nations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye include safe returns, strengthened and resilient communities, and sustainable development. It was highlighted that UN agencies are adopting a strategic approach focused on enhancing cooperation with public institutions. Localisation was presented not merely as a priority but as an integral component of Türkiye’s national development agenda. All speakers reiterated their commitment to working in line with the Grand Bargain principles, underlining the importance of fostering inclusive and effective partnerships with national and local actors.
ARSA is pleased to have taken part in this significant fair, which contributes to strengthening coordination and collaboration among humanitarian and development stakeholders at both national and international levels. Meltem Demirel, ARSA’s Monitoring & Evaluation and Capacity Development Officer, attended the fair on behalf of the organization.
