Between April 26th and 28th, the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) provided Case Management Training in Ankara to staff members of CLIP2 stakeholders. The training covered important topics such as protection programs, case management, and child protection law. On the first day, participants learned about protection program introduction, content of protection program teams, and case management principles. On the second day, social service interview and counseling techniques, protection risk analysis, and emergency and prioritization matrix were discussed. On the third day, information was provided about the general functioning of the child protection system, identification of children in need of protection, and protection services. Through presentations, group work, and interactive sessions, participants strengthened their knowledge on the topics covered. At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions to the facilitator of the training to learn more about the topics, and discussions were held on questions and sample cases.

During the training, Meltem Demirel, the Social Worker from ARSA, thoroughly grasped the intricacies of Case Management and provided succinct briefings to other staff members for the implementation of best practices.
