The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) participated in a three-day training titled “Strengthening Advocacy in the Field of Children’s Rights” held on 7–9 January 2026. The program covered key topics including core advocacy concepts, policy prioritization, child rights advocacy and programming, national and international advocacy mechanisms, and monitoring and reporting processes.

ARSA was represented by Legal Advisor Av. Fatma Doğru, MEAL & Capacity Building Officer Meltem Demirel, and Board Members Ali Mohammad and Aziz Azizi. The sessions focused on rights-based advocacy approaches, evidence-based monitoring, public engagement strategies, and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation.

Through advocacy planning exercises and group discussions, participants enhanced institutional learning and strengthened their strategic advocacy capacities in the field of children’s rights.

ARSA remains committed to integrating a child-rights-based perspective into all stages of its work and promoting meaningful child participation in decision-making processes.
