Dr. Zakira Hekmat, Chairperson of the ARSA Board of Directors, participated in a programme aimed at supporting migrants’ participation in working life and promoting equal opportunities in the labour market. Organised in cooperation with the Presidency of Migration Management and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the programme brought together public institutions and civil society organisations.

Held within the framework of the “Promoting the Transition to a Sustainable and Socially Inclusive Labour Market Project,” the programme addressed issues including legal rights in the workplace, social security, occupational health and safety, and work permits.

The programme also provided an opportunity for civil society organisations to share their field experiences. Through examples of good practices and case studies, participants discussed the processes and practical challenges encountered by migrants in accessing employment.

The gathering was an important opportunity to strengthen the exchange of experience among organisations working in the field of migration and to promote more inclusive approaches to working life.

As ARSA, we will continue to contribute to initiatives that support migrants’ access to their rights and participation in social life, while strengthening cooperation among relevant institutions.
