Asylum seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) participated in the 4th National Dialogue Conference on the Future of Afghanistan, held on 26–27 May 2025 in Antalya, Türkiye. The two-day event brought together civil society actors, democratic forces, and members of the Afghan diaspora to discuss the role of civil society in shaping Afghanistan’s future.

Representing ARSA, the organization’s founder and director MD. Zakira Hekmat joined the conference to engage in dialogue around legitimacy, constitution-making, and democratic governance. One of the key milestones of the event was the official launch of the Afghanistan’s Civil and Democratic Forces Network (ACDFN) — a platform aimed at strengthening democratic initiatives led by Afghan diaspora and exiled communities.

Hekmat took part in panels on both days of the conference, where she addressed the challenges faced by Afghan women, particularly those in displacement or exile, and shared proposals for future strategies and action plans. Her remarks emphasized the need for inclusive governance, gender equality, and meaningful participation of women in political processes.

The event received strong media attention and was covered by eight different Persian-speaking media outlets, amplifying the voices of Afghan civil society and providing a platform for future-oriented dialogue.
