MD. Zakira Hekmat, Founder and President of Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association, attended the visit to Keykubadiye Palace held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The event was organized in cooperation with the Kayseri City Council and the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism to promote the city’s historical and cultural heritage.

During the program, which shed light on Kayseri’s deep-rooted history, Dr. Hekmat emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage and underlined how such initiatives strengthen social solidarity and contribute to building cultural bridges between local communities and refugees.

Participants had the opportunity to closely observe the remains of Keykubadiye Palace, one of the most valuable legacies of the Anatolian Seljuk period. ARSA President Dr. Hekmat also highlighted the necessity of transferring the city’s cultural and social values to future generations.
