Become a Guardian with the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA): Supporting the Future of Refugee Children

Mission

The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) is dedicated to protecting the rights, well-being, and dignity of refugees and asylum seekers in Türkiye. ARSA provides legal assistance, psychosocial support, integration activities, and community-based services that enable refugees to access their fundamental rights and build safe, empowered lives. Through its extensive volunteer network, ARSA reaches communities across more than 60 provinces.

Background

Established informally in 2009 and officially registered in 2014, ARSA has become one of Türkiye’s most trusted civil society organizations supporting displaced populations. The association collaborates with leading international and national partners—including UNHCR, GIZ, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF), and the Turkish Refugee Council—to implement impactful programs that address the urgent needs of refugee children, women, and families.

Objective

Believing that every child deserves uninterrupted access to education, ARSA is launching the “Become a Guardian” campaign to support the educational journey of 2,000 refugee children.

Each sponsored child will receive a comprehensive Educational Support Package, including:

  • A high-quality school backpack
  • A full stationery kit (notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and essential learning materials)
  • School uniform
  • Pocket money to cover daily school-related expenses

In addition to these essentials, ARSA provides tutoring and educational support programs to help refugee children succeed academically and build brighter futures.

Budget

Supporting one child’s education costs $100, which fully covers the educational package.

Every contribution directly transforms the educational path of a refugee child, giving them confidence, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.

To reach 2,000 children, ARSA aims to raise $200,000.
