The Afghan Refugees Solidarity Association visited the Kayseri Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

During the visit, MD. Zakira Hekmat, ARSA Founder and President met with Osman Atsız, the AFAD Provincial Director. Hekmat introduced the temporary accommodation support project initiated for earthquake-affected families and individuals. It was agreed upon during the meeting that collaboration is necessary to ensure that the support provided under the project reaches the target groups. We would like to express our thanks to Kayseri AFAD for hosting the ARSA team.

The project initiated by our association (Temporary Housing Support for Earthquake Victims in Turkey) is supported by the Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF) and Airbnb.org. Our project operates in the provinces of Adana, Kahraman Maraş, Kayseri, and Malatya. Through accommodations reserved via Airbnb.org and other short-term housing types, it will assist those displaced due to the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş by providing accommodation for up to 30 days.
