With the efforts of ARSA, and in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Abdullah Gül University, a magnificent cultural and artistic event was held on Thursday, November 28, in the university's conference hall. The event aimed to strengthen social solidarity, showcase diverse cultures and arts, and honor the achievements of women and youth.

The program began with an opening speech by Dr. Zakira Hekmat, the President of ARSA. Following her remarks, Prof. Dr. Erk Hacıhasanoğlu, Vice President of Abdullah Gül University, and İbrahim Bayram from the Kayseri Directorate of Education and Coordinator of the PICTES Project, elaborated on the fruitful collaboration between ARSA and Kayseri’s Directorate of Education.

The “Voice of Hope” music group captivated the audience with melodious and soulful performances, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Later, a short film showcasing the impactful joint activities of ARSA and Mehmet İlgo Primary School was screened. This was followed by an energetic performance of Turkey’s traditional Zeybek dance by the school’s students, which received enthusiastic applause.

A group of children from the International Association for Social Cohesion and Youth then performed a heartwarming theatrical act centered on the themes of unity and hope, which resonated deeply with the attendees.

In another segment, women artists who had contributed to ARSA’s artistic projects and exhibitions were honored with certificates of appreciation. Adding to the cultural diversity, a group of young girls performed Afghanistan’s traditional dance, symbolizing their rich heritage, which was warmly received by the audience.

Women who successfully completed ARSA's literacy programs were also celebrated in an elegant and memorable ceremony.

Concluding the event, Dr. Zakira Hekmat and Prof. Dr. Erk Hacıhasanoğlu emphasized the vital role cultural programs play in fostering solidarity and engagement among diverse communities.

The event's final feature was a visit to an exhibition of refugee artworks and handicrafts. These creations, reflecting creativity, effort, and untapped talent within the refugee community, were met with admiration and appreciation.
