Volunteers from different provinces participated in our blood donation campaign, which we started for earthquake victims in Southeast Anatolia and organized in 62 provinces. Refugees in Erzurum line up to donate blood to earthquake victims

Refugees from Afghanistan, living in Erzurum, queued with the citizens in front of the Turkish Red Crescent to donate blood to the earthquake victims. Mohammad Kerim Haydari, one of the asylum seekers, said: "The Turkish nation has taken care of us for 13 years. Now we are doing our best."

Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 caused destruction and death in 10 provinces. Refugees from Afghanistan, living in Erzurum, also supported the mobilization to meet the need for blood in the earthquake region, where the number of dead and injured increases with each passing minute.

A group of refugees from Afghanistan, who sent a message to Erzurum Development Foundation (ER-VAK) President Erdal Güzel on social media, said that they wanted to donate blood. Erdal Güzel, President of ER-VAK, took the refugees who wanted to donate to the Turkish Red Crescent Blood Center in the central Yakutiye district. Asylum seekers filled out the forms, lining up with dozens of Erzurum residents waiting to donate. Informed asylum seekers then donated blood in turn.

Afghans living in Erzurum reached out to him and said: "We love the Turkish Nation very much." And they stated that they wanted to be with Turks in this difficult day. Erdal Güzel, President of ER-VAK, said: "We are going through a difficult process. As a nation, our condolences. I believe that we will pass this process with the strength of our state and the volunteering of our citizens. In this picture, our Afghan refugee brothers living in Erzurum became a part of this work. 'We love the Turkish nation very much. They sent a message saying, "We want to be with you in this troubled day. I contacted them and brought them to the Red Crescent Blood Center for blood donation. They showed a good sense of loyalty. This is a very meaningful and virtuous act. They express their loyalty on this path like an ant carrying water to the fire." They did. I thank them."

Sabareh Mohammadi, who filled out the blood donation form, said: "I have been living in Erzurum for 13 years. You have been with us in difficult times. Now we are with you whatever blood and soul is."

World Tahiri, who helped his relatives fill out the blood donation forms, said that they wanted to help the Turkish nation. Meanwhile, people from Erzurum, who flocked to the Turkish Red Crescent offices after the blood donation call, gave about 2 thousand units of blood in 2 days.
