On the occasion of World Refugee Day, June 20, members of the ARSA Association’s Children Rights Committee paid a visit to Kayseri Science Center. On this special day filled with science, children both had fun and learned new things.

During the visit, the children engaged in a variety of exciting and educational activities. The day began with a robotic coding workshop, offering children a hands-on experience with technology. This was followed by a science-themed movie screening titled “The Cell,” providing a brief but fascinating journey into the world of science.

Next, the children toured the science center, where interactive exhibits and experimental setups drew their enthusiastic attention.

ARSA Association officials, MEAL & Capacity Building Officer Meltem Demirel and CFA & Activity Officer Zahide Öner Akpınar stated that such events aim to support both the educational and social development of children. The joy and curiosity shown by the children throughout the trip reflected how impactful the event was.

This meaningful visit, organized in line with the spirit of World Refugee Day, not only opened new horizons for the children but also brought them closer to the universal language of science.

This trip was carried out with the support of Terre des Hommes, a leading international organization advocating for children’s rights.
