On March 11th, 2024, our Association hosted a successful Junior United Nations / Mini United Nations event focusing on Children's Rights. The event attracted 16 enthusiastic children between the ages of 9 and 17 who wanted to be part of the Children's Rights Committee.

The program kicked off with an informative presentation by our Child Protection Specialist, İsa Kara. He provided valuable insights into the workings of the Child Rights Commission. Following this, the participating children actively engaged in a discussion about the importance of children's rights, sharing their own perspectives on the issue.

To further stimulate discussion, the children received papers featuring flags of various countries alongside questions related to children's rights in those specific nations. This activity allowed them to delve deeper into the global challenges faced by children around the world.

The event culminated in a democratic process, where the participating children elected their very own Chair of the Children's Rights Committee.
