On February 10-11, Mr. Tom Toomey, the project manager, and Mr. Zalmai Attarpoor, the program coordinator from the American Councils, paid an official two-day visit to our association. The parties held frutifull meeting regarding potential collaborations between the Afghan Refugees Solidarity and Assistance Association (ARSA) and the American Councils, as well as details of the Leadership and English Teaching Program (LET) scheduled to take place from July 15 to August 2, 2024, aimed at Afghan refugees/asylum seekers.

These discussions continued with presentations and brain storm between both sides. On the first day, our association accompanied the American Councils delegation on a field visit, followed by an dinner. On the second day, the American Councils delegation continued their visit by meeting with a group of 30 Afghan community members residing in Kayseri. During this introductory meeting, a detailed presentation about the LET program scheduled for July-August was provided, concluding the visit of the American Councils delegation.
