The 3rd Culture and Art Gathering, organized by ARSA – Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association with the valued support of Abdullah Gül University, was an inspiring event that brought together diverse cultures, the unifying power of art, and strong community solidarity.

The event welcomed the participation of distinguished officials, including the Vice Rector of Abdullah Gül University, the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, the Director of Kayseri Provincial Migration Management, the Head of Disaster Affairs of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, the President of Kayseri City Council, the Provincial Coordinator of PIKTES, the Director of Kocasinan Public Education Center, the IMEP Kayseri Coordinator, and the Kayseri Representative of the Turkish Confederation of Mukhtars. Academics from Kayseri University, school administrators, representatives of NGOs, volunteers, and many students also took part, adding great value to the program.

The strong attendance from families of different nationalities further strengthened intercultural solidarity and the spirit of coexistence. The warm and inclusive atmosphere throughout the event highlighted how cultural diversity can enrich and empower society.

The program featured music and poetry performances, folk dances, children’s shows, and a captivating performance by the ARSA Stars Children’s Choir, creating a lively and colorful ambiance. The Culture and Art Exhibition, showcasing works by international artists, attracted significant attention and added depth to the event. The gathering concluded meaningfully with certificate presentations and group family photos.

Institutions and Artists Featured in the Exhibition:
The exhibition displayed valuable works from the Department of Handicrafts of Kayseri University, Kocasinan Public Education Center, IMEP – Kayseri, as well as handcrafted pieces created by women artists from Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Together, these artworks beautifully represented the creativity, identity, and cultural richness of diverse communities.
