As part of our activities under the ACAR Project, “Invisible Barriers – Access to Rights for Children with Disabilities in the Context of Displacement in Türkiye,” we continue our institutional visits.

On 18 September 2026, an institutional visit and assessment meeting was held with the SGDD-ASAM Association, a civil society organization operating in Kayseri, within the scope of the project objectives.

The main topics discussed during the meeting included:

Access to Rights and Services: Structural and practical barriers faced by displaced children with disabilities in accessing international protection procedures, education, healthcare, social services, and psychosocial support were assessed from a holistic perspective.

Field Experiences and Protection Activities: Field experiences from work with vulnerable and at-risk groups were shared, including observations regarding the increasing vulnerabilities of refugees in specific areas and experiences in case follow-up and protection services.
