The Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) implements a range of educational and workshop programs aimed at strengthening social cohesion, improving language skills, and supporting access to economic opportunities for refugees, asylum seekers, and other vulnerable individuals. These initiatives are designed to create an inclusive and empowering environment for both refugees and the host community.

ARSA carries out these activities in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Hayata Destek Association, academic institutions, international organizations, governmental bodies, and civil society organizations. These collaborations ensure that participants receive effective and sustainable support that addresses both short-term and long-term needs.

Key workshops and educational activities include:

  • Turkish Language Classes: Enhancing communication skills for daily life and social integration

  • Vocational and Technical Workshops: Covering crafts, computer skills, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for economic empowerment

  • Social Cohesion Programs: Group activities and social events designed to strengthen understanding and cooperation between communities

  • Individual and Group Counseling: Guidance tailored to educational, social, and psychosocial needs

Participants are required to register in person at ARSA’s center to join the workshops. All programs are conducted with a rights-based, equality-focused, and confidential approach, prioritizing the safety, dignity, and personal development of each participant.

Leveraging field experience, a broad volunteer network, and strong partnerships, ARSA is committed to providing translation and educational programs as an effective tool for empowerment, social cohesion, and skills development, creating a safe, inclusive, and sustainable environment for all participants.
