Representatives of Mr. Richard Bennett, theUN Special Rapporteur on Afghanistan, visited the Afghan Refugee Solidarity Association (ARSA) to assess the situation of Afghan refugees in Turkey.

During the visit, Mr. Stephen and Ms. Laura engaged in discussions with ARSA’s board members and staff. The key topics included the reasons behind Afghan refugees' migration to Turkey, the challenges they face in the country, and potential solutions to improve their conditions.

The UN representatives also held a meeting with 20 Afghan refugees who migrated to Turkey within the past year. In this session, the refugees shared their experiences of life in Afghanistan, the challenges of migration, and their current living conditions in Turkey.
