As part of the “ACAR Project: Invisible Barriers – Access to Rights for Children with Disabilities in the Context of Displacement in Türkiye,” ARSA Association visited Mülteciler Derneği in Istanbul in line with the objectives of the project.

During the visit, a productive assessment meeting was held with representatives of Mülteciler Derneği. The discussions focused on access to rights and essential services for children with disabilities, the invisible barriers they face, and needs identified through fieldwork. Particular attention was given to the challenges faced by displaced children, existing support mechanisms, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between institutions.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for sharing experiences, strengthening field-based efforts, and developing rights-based cooperation aimed at improving access to rights and services for children with disabilities.
