Representatives of the Yeşilay Counseling Center (YEDAM) visited the Asylum Seekers and Refugees Solidarity Association (ARSA) to strengthen inter-institutional knowledge and experience sharing.

During the meeting, the representatives provided information about Yeşilay’s work in the field of addiction prevention and the free psychological and social support services offered by YEDAM. Different types of addiction, including alcohol, substance use, tobacco, gambling, and technology addiction, were discussed, along with their impacts on individuals, families, and communities.

The meeting also addressed counseling, treatment, and rehabilitation processes, as well as approaches to referring individuals experiencing addiction and their families to appropriate support services.

The visit concluded with a constructive exchange of views and was a valuable opportunity to strengthen institutional cooperation and referral mechanisms in the field of addiction prevention and support.
